Read any good books lately??

Over the last two months i have read quite a few books. I love reading. Since i have travelled extensively this summer reading was all i did on flights and whenever i had an opportunity to. One book i would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys philosophy, and is in touch with there spiritual side is, "By the River Piedra I sat Down and Wept." It's written by Paulo Coelho and is absoloutely amazing. I loved it. It's a book that you can definitely relate to your own life.

If you are more interested in modern romance a good book is "One for my Baby," by Tony Parsons. It's really good. It's a story of, love, loss, and starting over. It's a very good read and definitely a tear-jerker.

Now if your into really hard core romance, "The Notebook." by Nicholas Sparks is soooooo good. It will make you cry. It's very sweet. It's also been made into a film. If you haven't watched the movie yet, read the book first and then watch the movie.

I am currently reading "Blindness," by Jose Saramago, which so far is very interesting. I love reading so if you've read a book lately that you really enjoyed let me know. It may be my next read.

I think that too often we take books for granted. We either don't have time to read or we just forget that there are people in this world who don't have the same access we do. Let's share the wealth and our knowledge. Recycle your books. Donate them to your local libraries, schools, or recreation centres when your done with them.

Germany was awesome!!

I'm back from Germany now. It was absoloutely incredible and i hope to return soon. The Cathedral in Cologne was breathtaking. Absoloutely amazing. The people are fabulous! I had such a great time! Thank you to those who posted comments on my updates page encouraging and supporting me to be fearless on the trip over even though i am terrified of flying! The flights weren't too bad. It was worse on the way over because we encountered a lot of turbulence while flying over the atlantic ocean. It was scarey! But the trip home was very smooth and relaxing. I actually got some sleep which usually never happens on the plane for me. Thanks again! Stay in touch!

Help!!!!
Related to country: Germany

I am finally going to visit a country that i have always wanted to experience! I am off to Germany tomorrow afternoon. Although i should be excited i am not. I Know that may sound strange but it is true. I can not get the thought that i will be travelling at an altitude of 32,000km for 7 hours!! The thought puts shivers down my spine! Normally one would think that the more exposure one has to the object of there worst fear the better able they become at dealing with it. This has proven to be wrong in my case! In the last 2 months i have been on many plane rides. I have travelled to Holland, Belgium, London, and Portugal. Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Kelowna, Vancouver, and Victoria all by airline. I should be a pro!!!!! But instead i sit here terrified of the very tought of having to board that plane tomorrow. I think i have brought the word phobia to a new level! Anyone have any good advice that may help me out tomorrow? I'm in need of a little support. :(
